Lay of the Land

We have some new arrivals.
Fowl Challenge

Their home is functional made from various bits of recycled construction waste (*exemption applied for) with no thought of aesthetics.

And there is no room for sentimentality here. These are food producers not pets and it is ill-advised to name your hens. But it is more important to relive past glories and celebrate revered figures from world history. Clockwise from bottom left: Benjamin, McGoldrick, Gilbert, Morley.

  1. Lovely !!
Smartarse comment No1 - which one is the chicken shed?
Thickarse comment No2 - enlighten me as to the celebrated revered figures from world history - none of them align with my all time top cycling heroes or welsh rugby union greats?
Let me know when Reynard has made off with them

  3. Ok i am having a go at the revered figures:
Benjamin - must be Flowella? from Play school she hasnt aged in 40years
McGoldrick - isnt that the bloke that was recently sacked from Channel 4 racing and did big brother?
Gilbert - O sullivan "Clair the moment i met you i swear..." - timeless classic I can see why you have picked that
Morley - you nearly stumped me there but who can forget Eric Morley founder of Miss World - great guy and another inspired choice I am assuming Mrs Dallas Soil Baron picked that one
great stuff look forward to seeing what you name the eggs
