Apologies for the prolonged period of absence. I hope that you, valerie and Adrian's wall are all well.
So what should the first thing be that we now start considering in relation to the patch in Minster? Is it cleaning all our pots ready for the new planting season or is there anything we need to do to prepare the ground?
Any advice welcome
Looking forward to seeing you on the 3rd

First thing: what are you going to grow? Seed ordering is the best job for the winter months. Realseeds.co.uk is my favourite. Digging is best done in the autumn but if you can get on the ground now then do it - you'll have plenty of other things to do my March. But I guess you dont have our dry mild winter climate and lovely workable soil - I've been digging all through January! I sowed my chillies this week but otherwise I'm just working on layout and getting the ground ready for the spring frenzy.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to my visit. All booked now.
Thanks DSB will hit the seed website, Gampy rotovated in the autum and is going to do it again this week if it stays dry enough. Glad to hear we are on the right track. Still eating onions from last year and had some leeks yesterday in a lovely stew.
ReplyDeleteHope you are well and see you on the 3rd
Cheers
